How to apply for a Thai Elite Visa?

165 views 0 January 16, 2024 Updated on October 2, 2025 siamlegalthailand

The application process is simple and can be done whether you are in Thailand or abroad.

1. Application Submission and Background Check

To apply, you will need the following:

  • Signed application form
  • Signed PDPA form
  • Color copy of your passport information page
  • Recent photo of yourself with a white background

To simplify the process, it’s recommended to contact a GSSA agent such as Siam Legal, who can assist you at every stage. A consultant will:

  • Help you choose the most suitable package
  • Answer your questions and address concerns
  • Guide you in completing the forms and show you where to sign

If you apply in person with a consultant:

  • You will be given the application and PDPA forms during your consultation session.
  • The consultant will also take your photo and scan your passport for submission.

If you apply from abroad:

  • The consultant will send you the application form to complete and sign, along with page 8 of the PDPA form for signature.
  • You will only need to scan or photograph your passport information page and take a photo of yourself in front of a white background.

Once submitted, your documents will be forwarded to Thailand Privilege for review. The background check and approval process typically takes up to 30 days for most nationalities and up to 3 months for certain countries.

2. Payment of Membership Fee

After approval, you will be asked to pay the membership fee. The cost depends on the package you select, ranging from THB 650,000 to THB 2 million.

3. Membership Confirmation

After payment, you will receive your Membership ID along with instructions for visa issuance.

4. Visa Issuance

  • If you are abroad: You can obtain the Thailand Privilege Visa at a Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country, or upon arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, Chiang Mai Airport, or Phuket Airport.
  • If you are already in Thailand: A Thailand Privilege agent will arrange for visa issuance at the Immigration Bureau in Bangkok.
